Corporate Partnerships
We are excited to work with businesses and corporate partners, delivering talks and tours that can help inspire colleagues and open up conversations around gender equality in the workplace.
We love to share stories of incredible East London women, as well as our own unique story from a positive protest at a ‘Jack the Ripper Museum’ to the only women’s museum in England. We also look at the history of the struggle for gender equality and challenges that remain today.
We can speak with your organisation in person, online, or as part of a heritage tour of Whitechapel, Newham or Barking.
If you would like to discuss working with us, please contact Rachel Crossley, Museum Director on rachel@eastendwomensmuseum.org
Testimonials
“It was so interesting to hear about the important work that East End Women’s Museum is doing to discover and preserve the stories of women from East London. Shirin gave an engaging and thought-provoking presentation, sharing the stories of impressive women from history – particularly those who have made a mark in the legal sector. It was the perfect way to celebrate International Women’s Day at Bates Wells.”

“We invited Shirin to present at a company lunch ‘n learn, to kick-start Women’s History Month. It was a really interesting session where we learned about women in the East End —from their history, to a glimpse of their personalities, to the various roles they adopted and assumptions they disproved. Shirin really shone a light on these stories in a way that captured their essence.”
It was particularly inspiring to hear about women of colour, who were often overshadowed in school history lessons - not only in the UK, but also in other parts of the world, like Germany and Canada. Shirin covered everything in just the right amount of depth, taking us through the journey of the East End Women’s Museum, and answering all our questions. We would definitely recommend this session for anyone wanting to learn more about the diverse history of East London, and the hard work of the Museum to preserve and honour these stories.”
