First a fishing and farming parish and then a market town, Barking continues to grow and change. Join local guides on this walking tour to hear about the incredible women of Barking, from the nuns at Barking Abbey to prison reformer Elizabeth Fry who was buried in Barking.

Join us for free, family fun days this February half term! Find out more about the East End Women’s Museum, take a look at our new building designs, and chat about some amazing East London women. Create some family-friendly feminist games to play with your friends and family, from ‘Who is she?’, a feminist take on Guess Who, and feminist Snap!

Get moving with artist Grace Duggan in our drama workshop, themed around women's history and our brand new museum building.

This is a 2 hour workshop.

Grace Duggan graduated from East 15 Acting School with a First Class BA Hons in Acting and Community Theatre. She is an East London based Director and Facilitator.
